Becoming a mother changed me in many different ways. I’ve written about it how hard it was at the beginning, how it affected my sex drive, and have basically bared my soul on this topic many times.
I watched countless other women, including my doula clients, online mom friends and my close friends and family members go through the same transition. I’ve held them through tears and anxiety and laughter as we navigated this motherhood journey together. And they’ve held me.
I can say, without a shadow of doubt, that the mothers I know are the strongest people in this world.
From my own mother, to my sister and aunts, and all of my amazing mom friends (otherwise known as people I know who also happen to be moms). We can deal with some shit. We handle whatever gets thrown our way and we keep moving forward.
So, obviously I am over the moon excited to be hosting this giveaway! Strong As A Mother is the result of a collaboration of two Canadian women who have created a great brand of products to promote the message that mothers are strong, diverse, and part of a community that support and help others to live the best life possible. Um, AMAZING!
I am a huge fan of their stuff, and rock my t-shirt all around the city every chance I get. I picked mine up at Melons et Clementines, my fave Montreal moms boutique and cafe. But, don’t worry if you’re not in Montreal. This giveaway is for ANYONE, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!
Strong As A Mother is graciously giving one of you a sweatshirt in the size and colour of your choice!

Motherhood has changed me too in many ways. Some days I feel so unsure and lost but others strong and fierce, ready for another day! I was so nieve when I became pregnant, thinking (how hard can it be) well… it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done and still trying to figure it all out. But I am in love with this little person and she’s made me the strong mother I want to be.
Wooo. I like contests and your blog. 🙂
I know so many strong mom’s, you being one of them.
I know so many strong mothers…including my own mother, my grandmother, my sister, and most recently, myself☺
My grandmother is the strongest mother I know. ❤❤
My newly single friend. Super strong mama!
Love your posts Megan! And this contest!!!
All the mothers I know are strong but the one who inspires me the most is my best friend ❤
Every mom know is strong!!
Motherhood is always something that I knew I wanted. I knew it would be hard and that it would challenge me in so many different ways. I look to other mom’s for strength!
Being a mother and going through changes although it may be hard it is always worth while in the end and makes one stronger and wiser as a person.
So many moms I know have fought tooth and nail to get pregnant, stay pregnant, and deliver healthy babies. My path to motherhood was not as arduous as theirs, and I am in awe at all my friends who keep persevering despite so many set backs.
Awesome contest! Would love to have this or give it to a strong mom I know! Mallory Butler check this out!
Becoming a mother changed me. I left my 9-to-5 job to create an environment where I can make money and be able to spend time with my son as much as I wanted to as much as he needed me to. As a single mother I found it hard to balance work and life. So I chose life because of him….. also I’ve got this crazy up session for graphic tees 😉
My best friend Allie is a strong mother -to -be!
My mama!
My inspiration and motivation to rock motherhood and knowing that know one is perfect! Strong girls come from strong women!
So excited about this!! All the way in Alabama!
My sister, by far the strongest mother I know! Homeschooling five special/high needs children and running a business with her husband. To say she kicks ass is an understatement!!
All mothers are definitely strong!! I thought so before becoming one but even more so now. Hardest and most rewarding job in the world! 😉 (Megan, side note: I named someone on your Instagram post but could not register on rafflecopter for some reason)
