As a way to help create community and to add a resource for pregnant and new moms in Montreal, I’ve started a Women’s Discussion Group. The group will eventually meet weekly to discuss all things related to pregnancy, birth and being a new mom in Montreal.
If you’re wondering how you’ll meet other new moms, what your hospital birth experience might be like, if you have fears about childbirth, or simply want a safe place to go to chat about your pregnancy and have a cup of tea with other women- this is the group for you!
The group will meet for the first time on November 24th, at 7 pm at Melons et Clementines. These discussions won’t replace your prenatal classes or doctor’s appointments, but instead will help you find your tribe or village of other women who are experiencing everything at the same time as you. There will be room for questions and we’ll have topics at each meeting to help guide the discussion.
